Addison Walk

Here is a view of our walkway. Our door is the first one you see on the left, number 1202.

While Addison is normally a small "Street," with one-way car traffic in those blocks where it exists at all, between 12th Street to our east (the perspective of the photo) and Camac Street to our west (at the far end in the photo) it's a brick walkway. So for this short stretch, it's more often called "Addison Walk" or "Addison Walkway." (The city seems to prefer "Walkway," but we prefer the shorter "Walk.") Waverly Walk(way), just to the north of us, is in the same situation.

The following map, adapted from the one published by the Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau, shows our location relative to the rest of Center City. Addison Walk is not drawn here, but our house is just about where the word "City" appears in the name "A City Garden Bed & Breakfast" (look for the large black arrow near 12th and Lombard Streets).

Just for fun, here's an aerial image, with the house highlighted in red.
