I am a third-year graduate student of Linguistics at the Department of Linguistics at the University of Pennsylvania. My advisor is Eugene Buckley. The topics I have worked on are mainly on phonology and its interface with morphology and syntax, which include the placement of subject clitics in Alsea, the tone sandhis in reduplicaiton in Standard Chinese, the tone change in Cantonese, and the phonetic properties of stress in Standard Chinese in collaboration with Catherine Lai and Jiahong Yuan. Currently I am working on my second qualifying paper about the n/zh alternation in Ojibwa in Optimality Theory. The other projects I am working on are the vowel harmony in San Dionisio Huave, text-setting, and Canadian French intonation.
