I have recently completed my Ph.D. in the Linguistics Department of the University of Pennsylvania.

My dissertation research examines the social and linguistic predictors of the outcomes of borrowing in the Montréal French speech community.

More generally, my research interests include language contact, variationist sociolinguistics, loanword adaptation, second language phonology, Romance linguistics, immigrant language policy, geographic variation, language games, and Continental and Canadian French.

My personal interests include travel, karaoke, bowling, and ice skating.
